24-hour Green Vegetable Salad

Total Time: 24 hrs 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 24 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 head lettuce, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt and pepper
  • 6 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen green peas, thawed
  • 1 lb bacon, cooked, drained and crumbled
  • 16 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup green onion, chopped

Recipe

  • 1 place 3 cups lettuce in bottom of large glass bowl.
  • 2 sprinkle with sugar, salt, and pepper.
  • 3 layer eggs over lettuce.
  • 4 layer peas, remaining lettuce, bacon, and cheese.
  • 5 spread mayonnaise over top.
  • 6 chill for 24 to 48 hours.
  • 7 garnish with green onions.
