Avocado Hummus Pita

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 4 pita bread rounds, halved
  • romaine lettuce leaf
  • tomato, slices
  • alfalfa sprout (optional)
  • hummus
  • 2 large ripe avocados, coarsely chopped
  • 4 large radishes, chopped
  • 2 celery ribs, chopped
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4-1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper

Recipe

  • 1 spread 1/4 cup of hummus inside each pita half.
  • 2 spoon avocado salad evenly into each half.
  • 3 add lettuce, tomato, and, sprouts.
  • 4 serve immediately.
