Apricot Gelatin Salad

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 1 (6 ounce) package orange jell-o
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (15 ounce) can apricot halves, drained and chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 (8 ounce) carton frozen whipped topping

Recipe

  • 1 dissolve jello in water.
  • 2 drain pineapple, reserving juice.
  • 3 add pineapple to jello.
  • 4 in mixer bowl, beat cream cheese and pineapple juice until smooth.
  • 5 stir in the jello mixture.
  • 6 chill until partially set, stirring occasionally.
  • 7 stir in apricots and walnuts.
  • 8 fold in whipped topping.
  • 9 pour into 9x13 dish.
  • 10 chill until firm.
