Barbecued Round Steak

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1 -1 1/2 lb round steak, about 1 1/2 inches thick
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1 tablespoon packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Recipe
- 1 cut round steaks into crosswise slices about 1/2 inch wide.
- 2 heat oil; brown steak on all sides.
- 3 use a slotted spoon to remove meat to a baking dish; set aside.
- 4 pour off fat, then place remaining ingredients in skillet; bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer for 2 minutes.
- 5 pour over steak, cover tightly with foil, and bake at 350° for 1 hour.
- 6 uncover and bake for 30 minutes longer.
- 7 serve with rice or potatoes and a salad.
- 8 barbecue round steak recipe serves 4 to 6.
