Back In Black Bean Salad

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup black beans
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomato
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup shredded mexican cheese
  • salt (optional)
  • pepper (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 melt the butter in a pot or a skillet.
  • 2 combine the beans and veggies in the pan and cook for about 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • 3 pour into a bowl and top with cheese and sour cream. add spices if desired.
  • 4 have a fiesta in your mouth!
