Authentic Bavarian Potato Salad

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1 kg potato
- 150 ml hot chicken broth or 150 ml hot beef broth
- 4 tablespoons vinegar
- salt
- pepper
- 1 pinch sugar
- 4 tablespoons oil (not olive oil!!!)
- 2 onions, chopped
- 70 g melted butter
- chives or parsley
Recipe
- 1 boil the potatoes, slice while still warm and add broth.
- 2 mix vinegar with salt, pepper and sugar.
- 3 sugar and salt should be dissolved before adding the oil.
- 4 add marinade to the potatoes.
- 5 add onions and finally the melted butter.
- 6 garnish with chives or parsley.
- 7 if you want to add cucumber, thinly slice them and salt.
- 8 drain before adding to the salad.
