Apple And Cheese Salad

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1 firm juicy eating apple
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped
  • 1 ounce seedless raisins or 1 ounce craisins
  • 1 ounce walnuts, roughly chopped
  • 2 ounces cheese, of your choice, cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoons low-fat plain yogurt or 2 tablespoons greek yogurt
  • 1 pinch cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon honey

Recipe

  • 1 wash, but do not peel the apples, remove the core, quarter and then cut the apples into triangles or cubes, mix at once with the lemon juice.
  • 2 add the celery, raisins or craisins, walnuts and cheese and mix together.
  • 3 flavour the yogurt with a little cinnamon and honey and mix well, and then mix the salad and yogurt together.
  • 4 put the salad in your lunchbox and refrigerate - or serve.
