Asian-flavored Coleslaw

Total Time: 18 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 3 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 4 cups thinly sliced napa cabbage (about 1/2 of a large head)
  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced green onion
  • 3 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons peanut oil
  • 1 tablespoon minced peeled fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 stir sesame seeds in a dry skillet over medium heat until light golden, about 3 minutes.
  • 2 in a large bowl combine cabbage and green onions, add remaining ingredients and toss to blend.
  • 3 sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve.
