Barb's Hot Chicken Salad

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 4 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 1 (8 ounce) can water chestnuts (chopped)
  • 1 (12 ounce) can sliced mushrooms
  • 1 (2 ounce) jar pimientos (optional)
  • 1 1/2 cups hellmann's mayonnaise
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 (6 ounce) can french's french fried onion rings (crumbled)
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 (6 ounce) package toasted slivered almonds

Recipe

  • 1 mix everything (except onions and cheese) together, and spread into a buttered or sprayed 9" x 13" dish.
  • 2 top with cheese, then crumbled onions.
  • 3 bake at 350-degrees for 30 minutes.
