Avocado Gelatin Salad

Ingredients
- 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
- 1/4 cup cold water
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 lemon, juice of
- 1 dash hot pepper sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon onion juice
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup mayonnaise
Recipe
- 1 soften gelatin in cold water for 5 minutes.
- 2 dissolve softened gelatin,in boiling water.
- 3 add lemon juice, hot pepper sauce, salt, pepper, and onion juice.
- 4 cool.
- 5 stir in mashed avocado, sour cream, and mayonnaise.
- 6 beat to blend.
- 7 pour into 1 1/2 quart mold.
- 8 chill until firm.
