Avery's Favorite Pasta Salad

Ingredients

- 1 (12 ounce) box tri color rotini noodles
- 1 dry ranch dressing mix, pack
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup red onion, diced
- 1 large cucumber, peeled, seeded and diced
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup chopped ham (optional)
- 1/2 cup frozen peas (optional)
Recipe
- 1 boil the noodles according to packaging instructions (or until al dente.).
- 2 drain and rinse with cold water. set aside.
- 3 in a large bowl mix the dry ranch packet, mayo, sour cream and parsley.
- 4 gently fold in the onion, cucumber, ham, peas and noodles until coated.
- 5 season with celery salt and black pepper to taste.
- 6 you can interchange the optional ingredients to your liking. i have used this recipe with chopped chicken or even a firm fish like tuna or salmon. you can also keep it vegetarian by adding an array of your favorite veggies. i think it's great with some cold blanched asparagus! i hope you enjoy this recipe!
