Alphabet Salad

Ingredients

• 8 ounces alphabet pasta
• 4 ounces instant vanilla pudding
• 15 ounces crushed pineapple
• 11 ounces mandarin oranges
• 1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts or 1/2 cup pecans
• 8 ounces cool whip

Recipe

• 1 cook 8 ounces alphabet macaroni according to directions (omit salt). refrigerate when cool.
• 2 prepare pudding but use 1/2 cup juices only of the pineapple and mandarin oranges. do not use milk to prepare.
• 3 set pineapple and mandarin oranges aside. mix cooled macaroni and pudding. mix in pineapple and mandarin oranges. stir in cool whip and chopped nuts. refrigerate overnight.
