24 Hour Salad

Total Time: 24 hrs 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 24 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 head iceberg lettuce
  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 1 lb bacon
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 cup mayonnaise (hellman's preferred)
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

Recipe

  • 1 cook bacon, crumble and set aside.
  • 2 place the following items in order listed into a big bowl: lettuce (torn into bite size pieces), cauliflower (broken into small pieces), onion (chopped or sliced- your choice), crumbled bacon sprinkle all sugar on top of salad.
  • 3 mix mayo and parmesan cheese- spread on top of salad.
  • 4 cover with plastic wrap then aluminum foil.
  • 5 refrigerate overnite.
  • 6 drain water from salad, mix and serve.

Blackberry Cherry Jello

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 (3 ounce) box blackberry jell-o
  • 1 -2 cup black sweet cherries
  • 1 (14 ounce) can eagle brand condensed milk

Recipe

  • 1 mix jello according to jello box using cherry juice in jello.
  • 2 add cherries.
  • 3 let set until thick thru.
  • 4 beat eagle brand sweetened milk until thick and spread over jello.

24 Hour Fruit Salad

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 1 cup whipping cream, whipped
  • 1 (3 ounce) box instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 1 (8 ounce) can mandarin oranges, drained dry (very important)
  • 1 (20 ounce) can pineapple chunks, drained dry
  • 1 cup green grape, halved
  • 1 cup red grapes, halved
  • 1/2 cup maraschino cherry
  • 1/2 cup marshmallows

Recipe

  • 1 the canned fruit needs to be completely dry, so recommend starting this 2 days in advance - draining the fruit overnight on the first day.
  • 2 on the day before you need the salad, whip the cream. you can sweeten it with a bit of sugar if desired, but it's not needed.
  • 3 mix the pudding mix and milk together until thick.
  • 4 fold the whipped cream and pudding together.
  • 5 fold the fruits and marshmallows into the cream and pudding mixture.
  • 6 refrigerate overnight.

  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
  • 1 (8 ounce) container cool whip
  • 1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple (drained)
  • 3 medium apples (diced)
  • 1 1/2 cups seedless grapes (sliced)
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1/3 cup pecans (crushed)

Recipe

  • 1 whip together cream cheese and cool whip.
  • 2 mix in pineapple, apples, grapes and marshmallows.
  • 3 sprinkle pecans over the top.
  • 4 refrigerate for 24 hours.

Artichoke Mushroom Salad

Banana Split Salad

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 20 ounces crushed pineapple (drained)
  • 10 ounces frozen strawberries (sliced)
  • 2 bananas (chopped)
  • 16 ounces cool whip

Recipe

  • 1 place chopped bananas in strainer and drizzle 7-up over them so they don't brown.blend cream cheese and sugar with mixer. fold in pineapple, strawberries, bananas and cool whip.
  • 2 freeze for 2-3 hours. serve.

Bread And Crab Salad

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 1 loaf bread
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup swiss cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 1/2 cup green onion, chopped
  • 2 (6 ounce) cans crabmeat
  • 6 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
  • 1 cup mayonnaise

Recipe

  • 1 cut off crusts of bread and discard or save for another use.
  • 2 butter both sides.
  • 3 cut each slice into 16 cubes and refrigerate overnight.
  • 4 next day add swiss cheese, celery, green onions, crab, and eggs.
  • 5 gently stir in mayonnaise, salt and pepper to taste, and refrigerate until serving time.
