Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups uncooked macaroni noodles
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion
- 1 (14 ounce) can primo mexican-style tomatoes
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 0.5 (125 g) package mclaren's imperial cheese
- 1 cup cheddar cheese
Recipe
- 1 cook and drain macaroni.
- 2 preheat oven to 375°f.
- 3 in a large saucepot, brown hamburger and garlic. drain. add onions, tomatoes, and spices. simmer 5 - 10 minutes. toss in macaroni.
- 4 meanwhile, whisk oil, milk, and flour together in separate saucepan. heat. add imperial cheese and whisk until melted.
- 5 stir the two mixtures together and transfer into a 2 quart casserole.
- 6 top with grated cheddar.
- 7 bake 20-30 minutes or until bubbly.
- 8 serve with a tossed green salad, and crusty bread.
