Angel Hair Pasta Salad

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 8 ounces angel hair pasta
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 cup slivered almonds
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 small red cabbage, shredded
- 6 scallions, chopped
- 1 (8 ounce) can water chestnuts, drained
Recipe
- 1 cook pasta according to package directions, drain and set aside.
- 2 heat oil in a small skillet over medium-low heat.
- 3 add almonds and sesame seeds.
- 4 sauté until slightly brown, set aside.
- 5 combine oil, sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper in a jar.
- 6 cover tightly and shake.
- 7 set aside.
- 8 combine cabbage, scallions, water chestnuts and pasta in a large bowl.
- 9 toss in nut mixture.
- 10 toss with dressing before serving.
